Fees and Appointments

Appointments are by arrangement only and payment for sessions is required at least 48 hours ahead of the agreed appointment date. You will require a hypnotherapy consultation before your first session which is free.

My hours of work are Monday to Friday with flexible hours to suit you and your schedule.

I know some of us like to deal with a computer rather than a person when sorting these things out but when it comes to hypnotherapy it is critical that we establish a relationship right from the start, AND it gives you a chance to see if you would like to work with me too before you commit to any sessions or part with any money.

Initial Consultation

I offer a 15-20 minute initial, confidential consultation for FREE.  This is over the phone and is mainly to have a high level conversation about the issue you are looking for help with, and to answer any questions you may have about hypnotherapy or my practice.  There is no obligation to go further at this point, however, should you want to go ahead, we will agree a suitable date and time for the first session and I will request payment for the first session at that time also.  If you are not able to make payment at that point then it can be made at a later time up to 48 hours prior to the appointment date and time.

First Session

Cost is £95 for up to 2 hours

This session is slightly longer than a typical session as it will go into detail about the history of your issue, and will focus on goal setting and treatment approach.  This is all done in collaboration with you.  It will also include an initial hypnosis exercise.

Subsequent Sessions

Cost is £80 per session (normally lasting around an 1 hour)

Each session will focus on review of progress and continuation of treatment.

The number of sessions is entirely up to you as the client.  You will know when you feel ready to move forward by yourself.

Please note that I do not recommend single session therapy as there is evidence that supports the position that the more sessions a client has, the more effective and long lasting solutions are likely to be.  On average 4 to 6 sessions is seen as the ideal, although it can be more or less depending upon a number of factors such as the complexity of the issue, the commitment to the treatment, and the range of techniques that are suitable to be applied.

Mental Massage

In these days of stress and overwork you don’t need to have a particular issue that you want to work on, you may just want to experience a deeply relaxing and general ego boosting session.  After all, we happily indulge in a physical massage, but we don’t necessarily look to relieve the root cause, the mental stress and strain of daily life.  So why not indulge yourself mentally.

Cost is £60 for a 45 minute session.

In Addition

Before the first session I may ask you to practise self hypnosis and will provide guidance on how to do this as this has been proven to increase the efficacy of treatment.

As well as that, I will provide audios for you to take away from each session to listen to at home, where appropriate.

All sessions are confidential.  I am governed by the NCH Code of Ethical Conduct and GDPR regulations both of which require total confidentiality of client data except in a few, exceptional circumstances.  To find out more please visit the NCH code of Conduct or GDPR overview. More importantly, your confidence in my services is paramount to me, and to ensuring a trusting working relationship.  Knowing that what we discuss is only between ourselves is hopefully comforting and reassuring to you, providing you with that safe space to be truly yourself.

I accept PayPal or bank transfer as a payment method.

Cancellation Policy

Hey, life happens and we can’t always control or ensure we are available or on time for appointments.  I try to employ a fair, no nonsense, individual circumstances view on cancellations but to keep us both safe and secure the following are my minimum requirements.

Cancellation By You

Provided you give notice of cancellation no later than 48 hours before your appointment time there will be no cancellation fee incurred.

If you do provide less than 48 hours notice then a 50% cancellation fee will be deducted from any refund due.

If you provide less than 24 hours notice of cancellation then 100% of the session fee will be incurred and no refund will be provided.  This includes “no-shows”.

If payment for the session has not been made and there is less than 48 hours to the appointment date and time the session will be automatically cancelled and an email notification sent to you advising you of the cancellation.

Cancellation By Me

Should I need to cancel the appointment a full refund will be provided irrespective of the time until the appointment if payment for the appointment has been made and no alternative date and time is agreed on to reschedule the appointment to.
